Exciting News From the Buffalo Irish Festival!

The Buffalo Irish Festival is back for 2025—new dates + location, same unbeatable Irish spirit! 

Buffalo River Fest Park, August 2-3, 2025

Get ready for a weekend packed with live music, Irish dance, cultural traditions, and plenty of pints. This is Buffalo’s biggest celebration of Irish heritage, and you won’t want to miss it!

WNY's biggest Irish party starts early! 

The Buffalo Irish Festival is August 2nd and 3rd but we are starting the craic (fun) early...this Friday at Buffalo Irish Center! There will be live music from Almost Seamus and raffles for exciting baskets and gift certificates. Plus our friends from Sullivan's Brewing Company will be there to give you a tasting of some of their fine Irish made brews as well as hand out some swag.  It's gonna be A REAL IRISH HOOLEY!

Interested in carrying a county flag in the annual Parade of Flags?

New for 2025!
Parade Route will begin near Fr. Conway Park + is roughly .10 mile
Flag Bearer + Sign Holder will receive free admission
Kick off the festival on Saturday, August 2 at 12PM

The wait is over—our first Buffalo Irish Festival 2025 headliners are here! 

Rory Makem – A master of Irish folk and storytelling, bringing the songs you can’t help but sing along to while raising a pint!

The Henry Girls – From Inishowen, County Donegal, Ireland, high-energy, foot-stomping harmonies that will have you dancing from the first note.

Steel City Rovers – A fusion of Celtic folk rock with high-energy rhythms and trad-fueled grit. If you like your reels with a little edge, you won’t want to miss this set!

DESIRE – The International U2 Tribute Act – Buffalo’s own U2 tribute band delivering stadium-sized anthems, soaring guitar solos, and the ultimate Irish rock experience.

Check Out Our New Home

Buffalo River Fest Park, a 3-acre park opened in 2011 and is situated at 249 Ohio Street on the Buffalo River. The park features a boardwalk along the Buffalo River, interpretive signs, a pergola, benches, walkways, a band shell, a wharf out over the river and lush gardens. This beautifully landscaped park offers the public an area to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Buffalo River while celebrating the rich history of the area.
